ReconCraft wins $25 million Navy deal for autonomous stealth vessels

ReconCraft LLC has won a $25 million Navy contract to build autonomous low-profile vessels.
The firm-fixed-price award went to ReconCraft LLC of Anchorage, Alaska, according to the Department of War contract announcement (see war.gov). Work will be performed in Clackamas, Oregon, and is expected to be completed by November 2028. Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity under contract number N00024-26-C-6324.
Fiscal 2026 appropriation account funds for accelerated procurement and fielding of innovative technologies for the Navy will cover the full amount. The $25 million will be obligated at the time of the award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.805-1(b)(2) (see war.gov).
The award reflects continued Navy investment in autonomous maritime systems, technology that could shape future fleet operations and procurement decisions.
