Trump stops at the British air base to display the presidential aircraft for service members and their families on his return flight from Turkey.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump stopped at RAF Mildenhall to show off the new Air Force One to service members on his way home from Turkey.

They were very excited, picture enclosed. It was on our way back to the States from Turkey, with virtually no deviation of flightpath. Trump said the aircraft was sent ahead to the British base at the request of the entire installation. He said the servicemembers were “very excited” for the visit. The stop came on the return leg of a trip from Turkey, and Trump said the aircraft made the detour with “virtually no deviation of flightpath.”
The new Air Force One aircraft is shown to service members at RAF Mildenhall on 07/08/2026. The special display was arranged for military personnel at their request during a stop on the aircraft's return flight from Turkey.
