Donjon Marine receives $180 million Navy salvage and towing contract
Donjon Marine Co. LLC of Hillside, New Jersey, will provide harbor clearance, ocean engineering and towing services along the Americas' east coast through June 2031 under a Naval Sea Systems Command award.
Donjon Marine Co. LLC has received a $180 million Navy contract for salvage, towing and harbor clearance work.
The Hillside, New Jersey, firm won a cost-plus-award-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covering salvage-related towing, harbor clearance, ocean engineering projects and point-to-point towing services. The company will perform the work along the North and South American east coast, with completion expected by June 2031. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds of $5,000 will obligate at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year (see war.gov).
Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-26-D-4306). The command procured the contract competitively through the System for Award Management website and received five offers.
The award marks the first contract to Donjon Marine Co. LLC in 2026 and the 21st Department of Defense contract in New Jersey this year. It ranks below the company’s $215 million record but falls within the 2026 Navy portfolio, which runs from a year-to-date low of $9.2 million to a high of $8 billion. The Pentagon announced the award among four Department of Defense contracts issued nationwide on July 9, 2026.
