Four firms compete for $44.6 million Army ammunition support contract

Blue Skies, Dalcom, DBOC JV and The Productivity Team will bid for orders under a firm-fixed-price deal for ammunition industrial base engineering support running through August 2030.

— Four companies will compete for orders under a $44.6 million Army contract for ammunition industrial base engineering support services.

Blue Skies Inc.of Huntsville, Alabama;Dalcom LLC of Galena, Maryland;DBOC JV of Fairfax, Virginia; and The Productivity Team LLC of Lake Orion, Michigan, will each compete for orders under the firm-fixed-price contract. Four bidders responded to the internet solicitation. Each order will set its own work location and funding, and the contract carries an estimated completion date of Aug. 2, 2030 (see war.gov).

Army Contracting Command in Newark, New Jersey, is the contracting activity. The award ranks among 13 Department of Defense contracts issued nationwide on July 9, 2026.

The deal marks the first contract recorded for each of the four firms in 2026, setting an initial benchmark within the Army portfolio and bringing each company’s tracked total for the year to $44.6 million. It stands as the 34th Department of Defense contract recorded in Alabama during 2026, falling between the Army portfolio’s year-to-date minimum of $9.1 million and maximum of $8.4 billion.
