Hive Group, LLC has won an $82.4 million Missile Defense Agency contract for acquisition and contracting support.

The McLean, Virginia, firm received a competitive cost-plus-fixed-fee award valued at $82.4 million including all options. The company will provide technical acquisition and contracting support across business systems, policy and compliance, source selection, contract pricing, contract management and strategic operations, acquisition operations, and the Office of Small Business Programs (see war.gov). Work will run in Fort Belvoir and Dahlgren, Virginia; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico; and Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville is the contracting activity.

The agency competitively procured the deal through the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus Small Business vehicle and drew five proposals. Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds totaling $908,688 fund the award (see war.gov).

The contract is the first award to Hive Group, LLC in 2026 and the 135th Department of Defense contract in Virginia this year. It ranks as the smallest Missile Defense Agency award so far in 2026, with the year-to-date maximum reaching $35.3 billion. The Pentagon announced the award among seven Department of Defense contracts issued nationwide on July 9, 2026.
