WASHINGTON D.C. — LEDE Donald Trump promoted a more than $30 billion investment by Apple Inc., the world’s most valuable technology company, in domestic chip manufacturing. Trump framed the commitment as proof his economic agenda is drawing production back to American soil, and he made the claim by mentioning the source (see foxbusiness) that Apple would fund the buildout with Broadcom.
