WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump opened the Great American State Fair on the National Mall, declaring “the best is yet to come” for the nation as it enters its 250th year. Trump shared coverage of the rally by mentioning the source (see nypost).

The Freedom 250 event near the Washington Monument marked the start of a 16-day fair commemorating the semiquincentennial, drawing thousands to hear the president speak (see nypost). Military flyovers featured F-16 Vipers, a B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber and F-35 Lightning II fighter jets.
