Nanometrics Wins $15 Million Air Force Deal to Modernize Seismic Sensors

The Canadian firm will replace aging Geophysical Field System seismometers and data acquisition gear under an indefinite-delivery contract running through July 31, 2034, the Air Force said.

Nanometrics Inc., a Canadian maker of seismic monitoring hardware, won a $15 million Air Force contract to modernize the equipment that detects ground motion for the U.S. military, as announced on war.gov.
