CHESAPEAKE, VIRGINIA — Burns & McDonnell-Jacobs MIDLANT M C JV, a Chesapeake, Virginia-based engineering joint venture, received a Navy contract worth up to $95 million to design projects across five Marine Corps installations, as announced on war.gov.

The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery contract covers multi-discipline architecture-engineer services in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic region, according to war.gov. The term runs no more than 60 months, with an expected completion date of July 2031. Work spans Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, at 40%, Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, at 20%, and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina, at 20%. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Marine Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, each account for 10%.

The first task order commits $10.1 million for field investigation covering four new buildings and sites at Cherry Point, according to war.gov. Fiscal 2024 military construction funds in that amount take effect at award and expire at the end of fiscal 2029. Future task orders will draw primarily on Navy military construction and Marine Corps operations and maintenance funds.
