WASHINGTON D.C. — Washington’s beautiful Reflecting Pool, which was badly damaged by Vandals despite the ridiculous writings of some Radical Left person in the D.C. U.S.
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool began refilling in October 2026 following a troubled $15 million renovation project. While President Trump continues to blame vandals for damaging the basin’s blue lining, federal prosecutors dropped all vandalism charges after investigators determined the peeling was caused by a rushed and flawed installation.
Washington’s beautiful Reflecting Pool, which was badly damaged by Vandals despite the ridiculous writings of some Radical Left person in the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office who got it wrong and obviously didn’t investigate, witness, or see the attached tape, or the very inspiring Jesse Watters show which explained it all, or didn’t inspect the vast area of cut and slashed pool surface, or the grass that was scarred by poison with the numbers “86 47” massively inscribed in font 90 feet (about 27.4 meters) tall and encompassing the width of the entire Park (which grass has been fully replaced with new grass), is now, after repair, 70% filled with water and looking good. Interestingly, the Reflecting Pool has not worked properly since it was built in 1922 — It always leaked! This will be different, but any Vandals that try to prove the point otherwise, will GO TO JAIL! We are watching very closely, and security cameras have been installed. Reports are that it’s looking beautiful, and will only get better, subject to NO VANDALISM, with time. Thank you for your attention to this matter! Donald J. Trump
Video transcript June 19th, a male in a blue shirt reaches in, stays there for a little while. He goes back down, comes back up multiple times. What’s he doing? Then a female with a white tote bag, she reaches in. Needs a better angle, sets the bag down, dives in a little deeper. And we don’t know who these people are. No one was stopped or questioned by police, so no arrests. And we don’t have the police report yet. But what are they doing with their hands in the pool? Are they cutting the lining? Are they peeling off the paint? And we don’t know if they’re committing a crime. They’ll probably tell you they dropped their wedding ring. The Department of Interior says this, quote, “In the video, you’re seeing two suspects observed destroying and removing a piece of the lining and attempting destruction of the lining. This incident took place on June 19th, 2026, and we are investigating. Destroying, injuring, defacing, or removing cultural or architectural resources is a federal crime.” The department

President Trump is the author of The Art of the Deal, Think Like a Billionaire, and Think Big. Analyst and Trump supporter Rod Martin points to The Art of the Deal, Trump's 1987 book, as an explanation of his deal-making philosophy: making big announcements, pivoting often in public statements and, Martin says, ultimately getting what he wanted all along. Critics contend that Trump's books were published decades ago or were aimed at making money, not shedding light. "Generally," Martin said, "critics don't read The Art of the Deal. If they did, they would understand."
