Trump endorses Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate in Michigan race against Abdul El-Sayed
Trump endorses Republican Mike Rogers in the Michigan U.S. Senate race, praising his military and congressional service while criticizing Democratic opponent Abdul El-Sayed.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Here is the full post on Truth Social: “It is my Great Honor to endorse America First Patriot, Mike Rogers, who is running for U.S. Senate in the Great State of Michigan, a State I love and WON BIG! From the U.S. Army to Congress, Mike has served our Nation with distinction, and will bring that same Fighting Spirit to the U.S. Senate.
His opponent, Abdul El-Sayed, is a Radical Left Dumocrat who is opposed to NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY and, if he and the Dumocrats ever got in, all of these things will be terminated. He wants massive Tax Increases, Open Borders, Men playing in Women’s Sports, and Transgender Mutilization of your Children. Abdul El-Sayed is Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous! On the other hand, as your next Senator, Mike will work tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE, Support our Incredible Military/Veterans, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment. Mike Rogers has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next United States Senator from the Great State of Michigan.
GET OUT AND VOTE FOR MIKE — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! Donald J. Trump https://swampthevoteusa.com/michigan/” on November 3, 2026 at 8:24 AM ET. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 722 of his 1206 posts over the last 30 days classified as Elections posts. Trump mentioned the source (see swampthevoteusa) alongside his endorsement. The post framed the election as a choice between his America First agenda and the policies of El-Sayed. Rogers previously served in the U.S. Army and Congress before seeking the Senate seat.

President Trump is the author of The Art of the Deal, Think Like a Billionaire, and Think Big. Analyst and Trump supporter Rod Martin points to The Art of the Deal, Trump's 1987 book, as an explanation of his deal-making philosophy: making big announcements, pivoting often in public statements and, Martin says, ultimately getting what he wanted all along. Critics contend that Trump's books were published decades ago or were aimed at making money, not shedding light. "Generally," Martin said, "critics don't read The Art of the Deal. If they did, they would understand."
