VANDALIA, OHIO — GE Aviation Systems LLChas won a $26.7 million Navy order to supply 63 generator control units for the F/A-18 aircraft, announced on June 25, 2026.

All work will be performed in Vandalia, Ohio, and work will be completed by December 2026. Fiscal 2026 working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $26.7 million will be obligated at time of award and those funds will not expire at the end of the applicable fiscal year. One company was solicited for this sole-source requirement pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1) and one offer received. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.”
