TUCSON, ARIZONA — Raytheon Co.won a not-to-exceed $1.1 million modification to produce AIM-9X Lot 26 missiles for the U.S. military on June 25, 2026.
Here is the full post (see war.gov): “Raytheon Co., Tucson, Arizona, is awarded a not-to-exceed $1.1 billion modification (P00007) to a previously awarded fixed-price incentive (firm-target) contract (N0001924C0032). This modification exercises options for the production and delivery of AIM-9X production Lot 26 requirements to include the following: 1,653 AIM-9X-4 Block II All Up Round Tactical Missiles, 336 AIM-9X-5 Block II+ All Up Round Tactical Missile for FMS, 156 Captive Air Training Missiles-9X-4, 16 Special Air Training Missiles, 10 Captive Test Missiles, 587 All Up Round Missile containers, and additional spares, guidance units, kits and support equipment in support of the Navy, Army, Air Force, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona; North Logan, Utah; Niles, Illinois; and various other locations, and is expected to be complete by September 2029. The contract action was not competed. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.”
