US Foods Inc.has won a maximum $43.6 million modification to extend a defense food-supply contract, the Defense Logistics Agency announced on July 1, 2026.

The Watertown, New York, award carries modification number P00012 against a two-year base contract with two 18-month option periods, adding 364 days to the period of performance (see war.gov). The fixed-price contract includes economic-price adjustment on an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity basis. The ordering period ends July 3, 2027, funded through fiscal 2026 and 2027 defense working capital funds. Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, serves as the contracting activity, and the Air Force, Army and Navy are the using military services.

US Foods Holding Corp. ranks as the second-largest foodservice distributor in the United States after Sysco, supplying about 250,000 locations including restaurants, healthcare facilities and educational institutions (see Google).
