The Act states, quite simply, that to Vote a person must show PHOTO VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, AND THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE CROOKED, CORRUPT, & DESTABILIZING MAIL-IN BALLOTS (EXCEPTIONS for Military, Disabled, Illness, and Travel!). THE SAVE AMERICA ACT’S non-passage is CRAZY, and a serious threat to any politician who votes against it! The SAVE America Act requires voters to provide proof of citizenship and photo identification to cast ballots in federal elections (see time.com). Trump told House Republicans in Florida this week that he would not sign any other bills until Congress passes the legislation (see time.com).

His renewed push ahead of the November midterms rests on repeated, unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud, which state and federal officials and courts have rejected (see time.com).
The bill faces slim odds in the Senate, where it needs 60 votes and support from some Democrats to overcome a filibuster (see time.com). Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called the measure “dead on arrival” and warned of “total gridlock in the Senate” (see time.com). Senate Majority Leader John Thune said the 60-vote rule may prove too high a hurdle, telling reporters he found it hard to see the bill succeed (see time.com).
