— Donald J. Trump accused Alaska Democrats of illegally recruiting a candidate named Daniel J. Sullivan to run against incumbent Republican Senator Dan Sullivan. The former president claimed the effort aimed to defraud voters and demanded legal consequences for Democratic Representative Mary Peltola.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “It has just been determined that the Democrats in Alaska illegally searched for, and recruited, a man named Dan Sullivan to run against our distinguished Republican Senator, Dan Sullivan, in order to defraud, confuse, and obfuscate the Election, thereby taking votes away from the REAL Senator, Dan Sullivan. The New York Times reports that, “Democrats have insisted they have nothing to do with the other Dan Sullivan on Alaska’s Senate ballot. But aides with the Mary Peltola campaign and DSCC were part of a monthslong secret plan to recruit him to run — as well as other candidates.” The Democrats’ false statements were made under oath in Federal Court. Therefore, they perjured themselves, and should be liable for very serious consequences. Mary Peltola should suffer the Legal and Political consequences for what she has done, A FRAUD ON THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, and Dan Sullivan should be allowed to run without either Mary Peltola or FAKE Dan Sullivan on the Ballot. Trump” on October 28, 2026 at 3:08 PM ET.

This is Trump’s 4th message released today, and the last post was 4 hours ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 17 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 279 of his 790 posts over the last 30 days classified as Elections posts.

A recent report revealed Democratic operatives allegedly recruited the challenger to confuse voters, according to newsweek. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee denied any involvement in the scheme, according to washingtonsun. The Alaska Supreme Court previously rejected Republican efforts to remove the second Sullivan from the ballot, according to washingtonsun.

President Trump is the author of The Art of the Deal, Think Like a Billionaire, and Think Big. Analyst and Trump supporter Rod Martin points to The Art of the Deal, Trump's 1987 book, as an explanation of his deal-making philosophy: making big announcements, pivoting often in public statements and, Martin says, ultimately getting what he wanted all along. Critics contend that Trump's books were published decades ago or were aimed at making money, not shedding light. "Generally," Martin said, "critics don't read The Art of the Deal. If they did, they would understand."
