Makers Architecture wins $10 million Navy planning contract boost

Makers Architecture and Urban Design LLP will expand facility planning across six western states, lifting its NAVFAC Southwest contract value to $25 million for work through September 2027.

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON — Makers Architecture and Urban Design LLP has won a $10 million contract modification to expand Navy facility planning across the American West.

The Seattle firm received a firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract that raises the maximum value for facility planning services within the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest area of operations. The award increases the cumulative value of the contract to $25 million (see war.gov). No funds will be obligated at the time of award, and funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued.

Work will be performed in California, which accounts for 87% of the effort, along with Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. The work is expected to be completed by September 2027. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest, in San Diego, California, is the contracting activity (N62473-22-D-1202).
