Trump credited the Branch for border protection and drug interdiction and said the first of 11 new Arctic Security Cutters he ordered will arrive in 2028. He named Secretary of Homeland Security Corporation Markwayne Mullin as the leader driving the effort. Trump also called on Congress to fully fund the service.
