MARIETTA, GEORGIA — Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co.has won a $142.9 million Air Force contract to sustain software for the C-5 Galaxy strategic airlifter.
The Marietta, Georgia, company received a cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract announced on July 6, 2026. The award provides software updates and maintenance, supporting certification artifacts, systems integration laboratory maintenance, engineering and technical support, and software engineering support services. Work will be performed in Marietta, Georgia, and Greenville, South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by May 20, 2032.
