— Three years ago today, on October 7th, the World witnessed one of the darkest and most evil days in the history of Israel. The October 7, 2023, surprise attack by Hamas in southern Israel resulted in the deaths of approximately 1,200 people and the abduction of 251 hostages. Subsequent diplomatic agreements, including an October 2025 U.S.-brokered deal, eventually led to all captives being accounted for through releases or the recovery of remains.

Three years ago today, on October 7th, the World witnessed one of the darkest and most evil days in the history of Israel. Innocent men, women, and children were murdered, kidnapped, and subjected to unimaginable horrors at the hands of Hamas TERRORISTS. Today, we remember every innocent life taken, honor the survivors and their families, and remember the hostages who endured the unthinkable.

I fought relentlessly to bring the hostages home, and reunite them with their loved ones, and I did, both the living and the dead! We will NEVER forget October 7th. We will NEVER forget the victims.

President Trump is the author of Trump: The Art of the Deal, Trump: Think Like a Billionaire: Everything You Need to Know About Success, Real Estate, and Life, and Think Big: Make It Happen in Business and Life. Analyst and Trump supporter Rod Martin points to The Art of the Deal, Trump's 1987 book, as an explanation of his deal-making philosophy: making big announcements, pivoting often in public statements and, Martin says, ultimately getting what he wanted all along. Critics contend that Trump's books were published decades ago or were aimed at making money, not shedding light. "Generally," Martin said, "critics don't read The Art of the Deal. If they did, they would understand."
