Chugach Pacific Services awarded $29.8 million Missile Defense contract in Guam
The Alaska Native corporation subsidiary will run facilities and logistics support at five Missile Defense Agency sites across Guam through August 2031.
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA — Chugach Pacific Services LLC received a $29.8 million noncompetitive firm-fixed-price contract to support Missile Defense Agency sites across Guam.
The Anchorage, Alaska, company will field office space, latrines, hazardous material lockers, power generation, fuels management, communication support, solid waste management, material handling equipment, operations and maintenance, custodial, grounds and pest management, and logistics support at five separate agency sites. The company will perform the work at Andersen Air Force Base, Naval Base Guam, and Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz. The performance period runs from July 2026 through August 2031. Contract line item numbers X001, X002, X005, and X006 cover latrines and office spaces, while X003 covers material handling equipment, X007 covers climate-controlled storage, X008 and X009 cover portable toilets, and line item 0010 covers transition.
Chugach Pacific Services is a subsidiary of Chugach Alaska Corporation, an Alaska Native corporation that has served government and industry for more than 50 years (see chugach.com). The five-year agreement supports critical infrastructure and operational maintenance for strategic defense assets in the Pacific region (see chugach.com). The government solicited one offer and received one offer. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance funds of $2.1 million cover the initial obligation. The award marks the first contract to Chugach Pacific Services recorded in the database and the 10th Department of Defense contract in Alaska during 2026. It falls between the year-to-date minimum of $11 million and maximum of $35.3 billion in the 2026 Missile Defense Agency portfolio. The department issued the award among nine defense contracts nationwide on July 9, 2026.
