PAE wins $49 million bridge deal for Iwakuni base support in Japan

The firm-fixed-price modification extends recurring and non-recurring facility services at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni through June 2027, lifting the contract's cumulative value to $204 million.

CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA — PAE Government Services Inc. won a $49.1 million modification to keep base operations running at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, on June 24, 2026.

Here is the full post (see war.gov): “PAE Government Services Inc., Chantilly, Virginia, is awarded a $49,080,773, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity modification (N40084-21-D-0060) to previously awarded contract for base operations support at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. This award brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $204 million. The contract modification provides for a bridge extension to continue essential recurring and non-recurring facility support services pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(2). Work will be performed at Iwakuni City, Japan, and is expected to be completed by June 2027. No funds will be obligated at time of award. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Marine Corps); fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Navy); fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Defense Agencies); and fiscal 2026 Department of War working capital funds, in the amount of $16.4 million for recurring work will be obligated on individual task orders issued during the bridge base period, and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Far East, Iwakuni, Japan, is the contracting activity.”
