WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald J. Trump posted a stylized image on Truth Social showing himself alongside golf legend Gary Player at his Bedminster, New Jersey, club, spotlighting his continued public associations with prominent sports figures at his own properties.

The post pairs the golfing icon with the president at one of his signature venues, according to truthsocial. It underscores how Trump uses his private clubs as backdrops for high-profile encounters with athletes and celebrities.

The image carries branding that reads USA, TRUMP and PXG, along with the word Bernien, framing a golf-cart scene in a warm outdoor setting. This post highlights Trump’s continued public engagements and associations with prominent sports figures, often occurring at his properties, according to truthsocial.

On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 16 of his 452 posts over the last 30 days classified as Trump Business & Personal Brand posts.

Bedminster serves as one of Trump’s marquee golf properties and a frequent gathering spot for his high-profile guests. The setting reinforces the personal-brand element that defines much of his social-media output, according to truthsocial.

The average reader sees in the post a window into how Trump blends business, personal brand and celebrity. Each such message keeps his properties in public view and ties his name to recognizable figures in sport.

Trump has repeatedly used Bedminster and his other clubs as stages for public appearances with well-known personalities. The pattern recurs across his social-media presence, according to truthsocial.

No further public event tied to this post has been announced, and a date for any follow-up has not been set.

Golf and the presidency have long intersected, as happened before. Presidents from William Howard Taft to Dwight D. Eisenhower embraced the sport, with Eisenhower installing a putting green at the White House in 1954. Their public embrace of golf shaped how later occupants of the office linked leisure, image and the game.
