MOORESTOWN, NEW JERSEY — Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems won a $60.6 million Navy contract for AEGIS ship integration and testing.
The Moorestown, New Jersey, firm received a cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost (no-fee) contract supporting surface combatant ships and related tactical sites. The award includes options that, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $1.38 billion. The Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity, and the deal was competitively procured through the System for Award Management website with two offers received.
Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey (36%); Norfolk, Virginia Beach (25%); Bath, Maine (11%); Pascagoula, Mississippi (10%); San Diego, California (9%); Deveselu, Romania (4%); Redzikowo, Poland (3%); and various other locations (2%). Completion is expected by June 2027, and if all options are exercised, work will continue through June 2036. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds of $8.2 million will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
