Lockheed Martin lands $49 million Navy submarine warfare order
Lockheed Martin will produce submarine electronic warfare systems for new and in-service submarines from Syracuse, New York, with work set to finish by July 2029.
SYRACUSE, NEW YORK — Lockheed Martin Corp.received a Navy order worth up to $48.96 million to build submarine electronic warfare systems.
The Syracuse, New York, firm received the not-to-exceed undefinitized delivery order (N00024-26-F-6223) under a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00024-19-D-6200). The work covers production of submarine electronic warfare systems on new construction and in-service submarines. The firm will perform the work in Syracuse, New York, and expects to complete it by July 2029 (see war.gov).
Fiscal 2026 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds of $27,841,004, or 77%, and fiscal 2026 other procurement (Navy) funds of $8,286,930, or 23%, cover production hardware at the time of award. Those funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (see war.gov).
