FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Bell Textron Inc. won a $43.2 million Navy order to build 32 gearboxes for Czech H-1 helicopters on June 23, 2026.

Here is the full post (see war.gov): “Bell Textron Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded $43.2 million for an undefinitized contract action delivery order (N00383-26-F-0083) under previously awarded basic ordering agreement N00383-22-G-ZL01 for the procurement of 32 gearboxes in support of H-1 helicopters sold to the Czech Republic under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. All work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and work will be completed by June 2030. This contract involves FMS funds to the Czech Republic (100%). FMS funds (Czech Republic) in the amount of $21.2 million (49%) will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Subsequent funding to definitize the requirement will be funded with appropriate FMS funds (Czech Republic). One company was solicited for this sole-source requirement pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1) and one offer received. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.”
